Westburn Alterations

This project combines the conversion of both an existing loft space and outbuildings, creating additional space on the ground floor as well as a stunning Master Suite in the loft.

The existing outbuilding and Utility space was stripped back to the granite, to allow for a new floor slab, insulated walls, heating, and decoration throughout. Knocking through an existing store allowed for the creation of an additional living space, with a new window opening formed to provide a view over the garden.

The existing Utility, WC and former Kitchen were removed, and internal partitions were formed to create a new Shower Room and Utility. A new external door, windows and rooflights were added to create a fully insulated envelope.

In the loft, the space was stripped out, and a new Stair was formed to access the space. Internal partitions were formed to create space for a Stunning Master Suite, with En-suite and Dressing space. New rooflights were added to allow natural daylight into the spaces and insulation was added to create a modern, comfortable space.

The result is a transformation which provides additional space for the family to grow, live and enjoy.
